more mini pugs...

this week i made a new top...

(note my new odette dachshund necklace)

and a mini version of my old pug.  smaller and less grumpy, too.

i'm still working on my how-to bunny booklet.  here's a little peek.

i have added some new radishes to the shop.  they are a slightly different shape than the old ones.  i think i was in the midst of heat stroke when i chose to use that pink metallic fabric, but i like how they turned out.

Just a note to let everyone know I have lowered the price of my Stuffed Dog and Stuffed Cat portraits.  I have been resistant to the idea of lowering the price of my work in response to the recession, but I want people to be able to buy them!  The materials I use are often very inexpensive--the price is more a reflection of the time I put into each one.  I am also going to be making them smaller, about 6 inches tall.  (If you have been reading my blog recently, you know I have recently discovered the joy of making things smaller.)

I have also reduced the price of these two recently listed items commensurate with lower Pet Portrait prices.

while i was photographing the wedding cake toppers i saw the inspiration for the next one on my fire escape.  the swans will have to wait.

soon to be in the shop: the pattern and fully illustrated instructions for my stuffed bunny!  i have been thinking about selling it as a download, but i think it would be fun to make little booklets or packets instead.  i know it would be more environmentally friendly to offer a pdf, but i can't resist an opportunity to play with office supplies :)

i am still really into making tiny things. this little doe will be half of a cake topper.  from now on i want all of my stuffed animals to be photographed in the palm of my hand.  

the little ones are so fun to make!
